I am so far behind on blogging...
We got back over a week ago from our trip to Minnesota to visit my mom and Tom. It was record breaking low tempartures for part of our trip, but that was a welcome break from the record breaking heat in Texas! We had a great time!!
The girls enjoyed playing in the lake and at the little beach area
Clay and Camryn at the house
Camryn was having too much fun...
Bean Hole Days (yes, that is the real name) is an annual tradition since the 1920's in Pequot Lakes, MN where 5 huge pots of beans are buried and cooked. It is a big festival as they pull out the beans and serve them to everyone. They were actually quite good
One day Clay and I took the girls to a berry farm just up the road. The strawberries were in season, and they were the sweetest we have ever tasted. The girls loved picking them straight from the vine.
Walking in the woods
Fun around the town...
Stay tuned for Part 2 - Paul Bunyan Land...
