Minnesota Part 2

Paul Bunyan Land...

Minnesota is the land of the lakes, logging, and of course, Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue ox. So now that Loren is 4, we thought it was time to start taking her to Paul Bunyan Land :) Paul Bunyan Land was perfect because it was small, friendly, and not crowded at all! It was Loren's first trip to an amusement park, and she did great! She was not afraid at all to ride anything...which was so great..we had no idea how she would feel about riding things by herself!

This is supposedly the largest animated talking statue in the world. Paul waves and says Hi to each child by name when they walk in. Loren liked to walk back by to have Paul ask her if she was having fun too :)













The other part of Paul Bunyan Land was an old pioneer village filled with antiques. Loren thought it was Paul's home a long time ago...but none the less, she was soo interested in seeing things from long ago and how "Paul" used to live :)



This was actually an old school bus. A horse would pull children to school in it, and the front part is a wood burning stove to keep the children warm.
