Summer Fun

Well it's officially summer and HOT here! No sign of rain either. But summer is going well, and we are staying quite busy.
Loren is enrolled in a day camp here for various days throughout the summer and she had her first one last week. She really enjoyed it and goes again on Thursday. Between vacations, she goes about once a week.

Tomorrow our summer Bible study starts and we will have that each Wednesday. I have also been spending Wednesdays helping get Vacation Bible School decorations made at Kingwood United Methodist (where we are calling home as of late). Speaking of VBS...Loren went to her first ever VBS this week. I signed her up at my sister's church because they take 4 year olds. It's the church I also go to MOPS at, so she is familiar with the church, but she still had to be dragged in the first day. She did well though and seemed to be having fun when I picked her up. She went in on her own will today, thankfully. She is really enjoying it now! We will all go while I volunteer at KUMC's VBS the last week of June. Loren will go to one last VBS the end of July at Second Baptist too :) Lots of VBS...I know...but it's such good, cheap fun for kids!

We have spent a lot of time in the pool too! Loren has become quite the little swimmer and gets all around our pool now. She is a pro at jumping off the diving board and swimming to the side. Thankfully Camryn is not adventurous in the pool (unlike everywhere else where she thinks she is a monkey)...so it definitely makes keeping up with 2 kids easier.

I guess that about sums up what is going on with us :)
We are looking forward to trips to Rockport and Minnesota in July!
