Gone Fishin

This past weekend we took the girls fishing in the pond at the end of our street. That was one thing we loved about this house when we bought it...at the end of our cul de sac are 2 large ponds with ducks, fish and turtles. Lots of fun to walk around and to feed the wildlife. We have been wanting to go fishing ever since we moved in too...and we finally did. I chopped up some old ham for bait, grabbed the princess fishing pole, and away we went.

After several failed attempts at catching anything...Clay passed me the pole and I said "Let me show you how it is done". Sure enough...we got a catfish! It was small...(unlike our friend who caught a 36 in. one the week before)...but we caught one, and to Loren that was all that mattered :)
