Rennovations

Last week a day didn't go by that there weren't people working in our house. Let me start by saying this is not fun with 2 little kids, as you feel like an intruder in your own house. We had granite, new back splash, sink and faucet put in the kitchen, as well as granite, new sinks and faucets and new tile in both our bathrooms. For several days while our all sinks were out of commission I had to wash bottles and other necessary dishes in the bathtub...not fun. At one point both our toilets were pulled out while the tile was being laid, so of course, after a little while Loren had to tinkle...BAD. So she experienced going in the backyard...that was a mess...boys have it much easier in this area :) I am happy to report I can now wash dishes in the kitchen sink instead of the bathtub. I am still cleaning off the layer of dust that is over everything in our house...but we are quite pleased with how it all turned out...so I guess that's the price you pay!
