Rockport Weekend

This past weekend we headed to Rockport for a little fun in the sun.
Meredith and I loaded up all the kids Thursday after preschool and she and I headed down there to get a head start on the guys who couldn't join us until Friday evening. Friday afternoon we decided to be brave and take the kids to the beach. I had the brilliant idea of enjoying the afternoon snack at the beach...little did I know every sea gull in a mile radius would then think it was their snack time too. Those pesky birds! They had fun playing in the sand and water though. We only lasted about 45 minutes, and then decided to just head back to the pool at the condo.





Saturday the guys fished, we went to the park, out to lunch, swimming and more fishing (Loren style) in the afternoon. We topped off the night with margaritas and a big shrimp boil!




Sunday we squeezed in a little more fishing for Loren and a boat ride before we headed home.
