Veggie Garden

Last week the girls and I had to stop at Lowes to get some more flowers for our front yard. There we spotted the veggies to plant. I immediately thought that sounded like fun! I knew we had some old pots in the backyard, so we just needed some dirt, and we were good to go. Loren helped me pick a cherry tomato plant, jalapenos, yellow squash and zucchini. We got home and planted them, found a sunny spot on the back patio, and watered them...now time will just tell if they produce anything we can eat! Loren has been taking good care of them by watering them regularly. I have been known to kill many a potted plant for lack of water...so I hope this proves otherwise!
