We enjoyed having Jason and Kristen DeVore come in for a visit and to join us at the Rodeo last Saturday. We were all kid-free for a luxirous 24 hours while our moms watched the kids! It felt a bit like a vacation in our own town (and house!). We saw Brooks and Dunn and enjoyed watching the cowboys go for it all in the Rodeo finals. We then topped it off with a nice, yummy dinner on the lake in Kingwood. Or maybe I should say we topped it off by sleeping in the next morning, enjoying a cup of coffee in peace and enjoying each other's company :)

24 whole hours without ANY kids....what's that like!!! :) The brussel sprouts were a hit with 1/2 the family.
Cute pics! I don't think you look a day older than you did in college! The kids are sure wonderful, but it is so nice to get a break every now & again, isn't it?
