Still no power in most of Houston...including Kingwood (where we live). Clay left to go back today to begin helping get Greystar's properties cleaned up, bring water, food etc... He received a generator from his work so that should help him out some, and we have some cooler weather so hopefully he won't be too miserable! The girls and I are holding tight in San Marcos...just waiting for the word that we have power, and then we'll head back to Houston too.
We are thankful that we received the news the day after the storm that our house (and all our family member's homes in Houston) had weathered the storm, we had no down trees...only a giant mess to clean up. We were also thankful to hear that our neighbors had cleaned up our yard for us...what a blessing!!
We'll be glad when life returns to normal..but I think that will be a few weeks for us (and years for poor Galveston).

Glad you all are safe!
Glad you all are o.k. and safe and sound in S.M. We have been thinking about you guys, wondering how you weathered the storm :) Glad to hear the new house is o.k. too!
