Loren and Christmas

This is the first year Loren is really starting to understand Christmas...and it's so fun! We are eager to let her experience anything relating to Christmas because it is just so fun to watch her get so excited about it all.

For starters...she is really into baby Jesus! She wants to play with all our nativities, and she has 2 of her own that she can't hurt. Most nights baby Jesus sleeps next to her on her nightstand...if he cries, of course he has to go back to Mary and Joseph though!



She is also loving her advent calendar that her Grammy bought her. What is better than counting down to Christmas, and getting chocolate??



This past weekend Clay and I took her to Sights and Sounds in San Marcos. It was fun for us to do something with just Loren, while Nana babysat Camryn for us. They had tons of lights, Santa, food, singing etc...but the highlight was a mock little Bethlehem town. Here she got to see all these people we read about in her Bible stories...the three wisemen, angels, and of course...Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus...and there was that sweet little baby laying in the manger...drinking his bottle :)
