Happy Easter

Good Friday Clay and I went with friends Pat and Lori to the Shell Houston Open. We had a wonderful time enjoying food and drinks in the Waste Management tent. We also had fun watching Phil Mickelson putt on the 9th green, and George Bush Sr. pulled up in a golf cart to watch too. He was so cute, but looking old :)

Saturday we went to our church Easter egg hunt, and then Loren headed to a spa birthday party. It was hilarious watching all the little girls in their bathrobes putting on masks, soaking their feet and reading magazines, and getting their nails done. That night Meredith, Jonathan, William and Logan came in town, and we had my dad and Nanny over for dinner. The kids dyed Easter eggs and had an egg hunt.



The Easter bunny came! Camryn even claims to have spotted him outside the night before as we were telling my dad goodbye. Loren was very concerned with how the Easter bunny could deliver eggs when he has paws. She figured he must use his paw to scoop them, and gently lay them down. It occurred to me this year that there is much published about Santa, but little about the Easter Bunny!
The kids looked through what the Easter Bunny left in their baskets, hunted eggs, and then we were off to church, and to my mom's for a delicious Easter lunch :)
It was another wonderful Easter...and we are so thankful that HE IS RISEN!!
