Well...the house looks like a tornado has blown through and left our stuff in a giant mess. There is still a sea of boxes, packing paper and odds and ends. Why is it that we have 1000 more square feet, and I still can't find a place to put all our junk? I spend my days picking up one little thing after another and trying to find a place for it...so that at the end of the day you still can't tell I did anything. Rewarding. I keep telling myself it won't look like this forever (will it?).
We also bought this house knowing it needed some work and tlc. So we're also trying to get more painting done, replace lights, blinds, fans etc... If only time and money were two endless supplies.
Other than THAT...things are going okay. I miss my friends and so does Loren. Every day she asks several times "who is coming over" and each time I give her the same answer..."nobody". It will be nice when I can actually tell her we have a friend coming over.
My new MOPS group is bringing us meals...so that means I think we've had meals for 6 of the last 8 weeks since Camryn has been born. That's been a huge blessing to us!
Loren started her new Mother's Day Out last week. I am not sure it's as nice as the one in Houston...but I am just glad to have her in somewhere. There is definitely no busy boppin spanish or group chapel...two of her favorite things from her old one, but they do fun crafts and stuff and her teacher seems good.
So I guess that's the latest update on our lives. I need to get ready for our big outing today...it's to the "nice" Wal-Mart down the road. I must admit I do love how everything is so "Austinesque" when even Wal-Mart is nestled behind the oak trees.
Here's some pics relating to the last post too. Pics of the new digs here to follow....
